Dolphin After-School Enrichment Program
Arts* Environmental Education* Academics*Athletics

A North Carolina Licensed Child Care Facility

Mission Statement: Elementary School Program

Provide an after-school enrichment program, which will keep our children safe, assist the working families in our community, and

provide personal enrichment opportunities for all youth who apply by providing affordable fees or subsidized fees to include all who apply.

The After-School Enrichment Program aims to bring continuity to our children's lives and strengthen their sense of belonging in their

community.

Elementary Program Philosophy:Elementary school children need time to decompress from a long day of school before
working on homework and extracurricular activities. Dolphin After-School Enrichment Program provides time for free-play, snacks, homework/reading time and enrichment programs. Families have the opportunity to expose their children to extracurricular programs where their children can participate on-site rather than driving to other locations after a long day at work. Martial Arts, Yoga, Creative Dance, Theatre and Art have all been extra activities offered additional to weekly enrichment programs. In addition, Dolphin After-School brings in other organization to expose all children to enrichment activities. For example, an Art Instructor, Magic Trunk Theatre Company performs plays, No Sleeves Magic performs magic shows, and The NC Aquarium at Fort Fisher brings in ocean creatures and lessons.
